We understand that all companies that have ever existed want to be at TooManyGames, but maybe they just can't fit it into their schedule.  Fear not you unlucky companies, you can still have a presence at TooManyGames!  Presenting, the 2013 TooManyGames Commemorative Program!

Our program isn't some bland black and white affair on recycled shoelaces.  It's an 8.5"x11", full color, glossy, professionally bound and printed collectible.  Our program is being designed as an homage to Nintendo Power, the gaming magazine that thrilled gamers for decades with news of Nintendo's new games and systems.  Each section will remind you of the Nintendo Power of yore.

Makai IslandNEW GAME

Makai Island is a localization of an early Capcom effort called Higemaru Makaijima. The game is an overhead action/adventure title that has the player defending himself using the barrels, rocks, and other objects strewn around the map. Early stages are pretty straightforward strings of lesser enemies, leading up to a boss fight. Further into the game, though, more emphasis is put on exploring and item hunting, with just a bit of puzzle solving, giving the gameplay very slight shades of The Legend of Zelda. As the player advances through the game, the story branches to one of two different endings, based on if a set of optional items are found.

We've had an AMAZING response to this year's Indie Game Showcase!  So many independent development teams want to participate, but we have to limit the amount of companies coming.  We have 24 indie studios coming to TooManyGames this year, many of who are exhibting for their first time!  Check out the full list of participants on the right side of the main page and get ready to play some new games in June!

WARMACHINE is a fast-paced and aggressive 30mm tabletop miniatures battle game set in the steam-powered fantasy world of the Iron Kingdoms. Players take on the role of elite soldier-sorcerers known as warcasters. Though warcasters are formidable combatants on their own, their true strength lies in their magical ability to control and coordinate mighty warjacks—massive steam-powered combat automatons that are the pinnacle of military might in the Iron Kingdoms.

Join us for a taste of steam, steel, and raw muscle all weekend- let us show you the ropes in a casual, friendly demo game. One of our volunteers will teach you everything you need to get started, walk you through a game, and be available for questions or advice.

Already a Warmachine or Hordes player? Great! We'll have several open play tables available throughout the weekend. Come by and get a game in between your other events!

imageINDIE SHOWCASE

TooManyGames' Indie Game Showcase has become a very important part of our show.  Two years ago we came up with the idea to invite small game development teams, one-person operations, and college game design classes to TooManyGames.  To make it all the more inticing we decided to offer space at no cost, because it's hard enough for indie devs to continue making new games.  Last year we offered an option where the devs can buy a pipe and draped booth for a discount, just to make a bit of a bigger impact.

We're glad to open up our exhibition floor to all indie game devlopment companies, and this year we're glad to begin accepting applications for independent board game developers as well!  We'll be adding an area of free play tables to the Indie Game Showcase where board game developers have the opportunity to schedule demos and play sessions of their games!

More info on the 2013 Indie Game Showcase is available here and in the menu at Exhibitors>Indie Game Showcase
