Good day, gamers. It seems that preregistration for the 2013 TooManyGames has come to a close, but worry not! You can still buy tickets at the door for the same price as pre-registration! We even have a handful of Final Boss passes still available on a first-come first-served basis! You can pay for tickets using either casb or credit/debit cards.
We know you're all going to have an awesome time at this year's event, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone at the show!
We understand that all companies that have ever existed want to be at TooManyGames, but maybe they just can't fit it into their schedule. Fear not you unlucky companies, you can still have a presence at TooManyGames! Presenting, the 2013 TooManyGames Commemorative Program!
Our program isn't some bland black and white affair on recycled shoelaces. It's an 8.5"x11", full color, glossy, professionally bound and printed collectible. Our program is being designed as an homage to Nintendo Power, the gaming magazine that thrilled gamers for decades with news of Nintendo's new games and systems. Each section will remind you of the Nintendo Power of yore.
So, one NES and one SMS game aren't enough to amend your collection with? You want ANOTHER new retro game? Psssh, fine!
This year we're proud to debut the sequel to last year's new release, Dragon Feet. Presenting Dragon Leap! This platforming puzzle game has you collecting power-ups to help you mow down enemies as you reach the goal in each level!
There will be only 30 copies available at $30 each, so they will NOT last long!
Check out a video of the game in action after the break!
So, you're planning to come to TooManyGames this year, and sure, the $25 3-day pass might seem like the best option, after all, you get in to the show for the entire weekend, and you can play in all the tournaments, and watch to all the concerts you want. But maybe you're itching for something just a little bit more, you want the full TooManyGames experience. Well, then you need a Final Boss package! It's the only way for attendees to get in to our exclusive After Party, and the passes are just about gone!
We're adding ANOTHER perk for everyone who registers for a Mini Boss or Final Boss package! Both packages get extra raffle tickets, both packages get a t-shirt (with an exclusive design for Final Bosses), and now both packages will get a free TooManyGames branded messenger bag!
Carry home all your marketplace finds in this stylish bag, and tell everyone who sees it that you're a gamer who means business!
Have you seen the schedule for this year's show? Make sure you plan out your days at the convention! We'll also be using the Guidebook app again this year, and when we submit our finalized schedule we'll let everyone know that our Guidebook is live!
Makai Island is a localization of an early Capcom effort called Higemaru Makaijima. The game is an overhead action/adventure title that has the player defending himself using the barrels, rocks, and other objects strewn around the map. Early stages are pretty straightforward strings of lesser enemies, leading up to a boss fight. Further into the game, though, more emphasis is put on exploring and item hunting, with just a bit of puzzle solving, giving the gameplay very slight shades of The Legend of Zelda. As the player advances through the game, the story branches to one of two different endings, based on if a set of optional items are found.
This year's marketplace is the most populated one yet! We have dozens of game vendors, artists, musicians, and so much more ready to fill your every need! Have you seen the list on the right of the website? Check out some of their web pages, and see what they're offering!
We've had an AMAZING response to this year's Indie Game Showcase! So many independent development teams want to participate, but we have to limit the amount of companies coming. We have 24 indie studios coming to TooManyGames this year, many of who are exhibting for their first time! Check out the full list of participants on the right side of the main page and get ready to play some new games in June!
You know we love bringing you new classic games, so how about this. 64kb Games, the developer who brought you Dragon Feet at last year's show, is releasing *2* new games at this year's convention!
First is the only new Sega Master System game since production ended! Bread and Butter will be available, complete with a case and instructions, for the super low price of $25! Only 30 copies will be made! Gotta be at TooManyGames to get one!

WARMACHINE is a fast-paced and aggressive 30mm tabletop miniatures battle game set in the steam-powered fantasy world of the Iron Kingdoms. Players take on the role of elite soldier-sorcerers known as warcasters. Though warcasters are formidable combatants on their own, their true strength lies in their magical ability to control and coordinate mighty warjacks—massive steam-powered combat automatons that are the pinnacle of military might in the Iron Kingdoms.
Join us for a taste of steam, steel, and raw muscle all weekend- let us show you the ropes in a casual, friendly demo game. One of our volunteers will teach you everything you need to get started, walk you through a game, and be available for questions or advice.
Already a Warmachine or Hordes player? Great! We'll have several open play tables available throughout the weekend. Come by and get a game in between your other events!
TooManyGames' Indie Game Showcase has become a very important part of our show. Two years ago we came up with the idea to invite small game development teams, one-person operations, and college game design classes to TooManyGames. To make it all the more inticing we decided to offer space at no cost, because it's hard enough for indie devs to continue making new games. Last year we offered an option where the devs can buy a pipe and draped booth for a discount, just to make a bit of a bigger impact.
We're glad to open up our exhibition floor to all indie game devlopment companies, and this year we're glad to begin accepting applications for independent board game developers as well! We'll be adding an area of free play tables to the Indie Game Showcase where board game developers have the opportunity to schedule demos and play sessions of their games!
More info on the 2013 Indie Game Showcase is available here and in the menu at Exhibitors>Indie Game Showcase
